Maintenance: The money somebody has to pay to ensure a reasonable standard of living.
Malicious Prosecution: A prosecution begun in malice without probable cause to believe the charges can be sustained. Malice means the intentional doing of a wrongful act without just cause or excuse, with the intent to inflict harm or pain to another.
Manslaughter: The unlawful killing of one person by another without advance planning.
Mediation: An attempt to solve a dispute by working with both sides to help them to reach an agreement.
Mischief: Injury or damage caused by the actions of somebody or something.
Modify: To make minor change or alteration to something or to change slightly, especially in order to improve it.
Monetary: Relating to or involving money or currency.
Municipal By-Law: A law passed by a municipal government.
